Harvard University Found Cardiovascular Disease Linked to Aviation Noise

The Harvard School of Public Health found that people living under the aviation noise that are 10 decibels higher have a 3.5% cardiovascular hospital admission rate. The empirical study found that cardiovascular hospital admission rate are higher among older people. The increase of aviation noise contributes to stress and increased blood pressure. This study was approved by the FAA and findings published on October 8, 2013.
