Increases in LGA Departures Over Northeast Queens, Jackson Heights, & Woodside

This report will be the first in a series of releases that help to accomplish our stated goals. Through the expanded use of the Freedom of Information Act requests, QQS has acquired long desired data on NextGen flight routes like the TNNIS Climb as well as a wealth of data on both airports. Further, the group will assess, simplify and present this technical data in terms that concerned citizens can easily understand.

Among the highlights of our press coverage, I’m pretty sure I saw that the Port Authority was quoted as saying QQS is right! Thanks, guys! But perhaps my favorite quote was from the FAA spokesperson. He said, the FAA can’t comment yet because it hasn’t studied our data. Ummm…. that’s actually the FAA’s data. We got it from them. So it should be a snap for them to study it. Maybe they should have been studying it all along.

Stupid white stone climb!!! Living 7+ mile away in Fresh Meadow, we are still suffering extremely loud airplane noises. Cannot believe they flying over our houses for over 2 week in a row. Crazing LaGuadia airport!
